Each year, on hundreds of college campuses across the country and in thousands of communities around the world, one event unites millions of total strangers in the global fight against cancer. That event is the American Cancer Society Relay For Life. This year, I will be participating in it as part of Gamma Beta Phi honor society and the Anthropology Club. The “Relay,” as it is called, is an American Cancer Society fundraising event that raises more than $385 million dollars annually to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives from cancer.
The NAU Relay will take place on April 16th and 17th, and I have made it my goal to raise at least $100 before then. I write today to ask you to please help me reach that goal. Please help me put an end to the disease that has caused us all so much pain.
Any donation, large or small, will save lives. Every dollar will take us closer to a future where cancer is a thing of the past.
Please follow the link at the bottom of this message to visit my personal web page. You can either donate online via this site or mail me a check made out to “American Cancer Society.”
