Today was my second meeting with the AAS, Northern Arizona Chapter. It was a much better turnout than the last one. I think people were still traveling for summer and whatnot. Anywho, it was fabulous. The speaker's topic went a little over my head however. Archaeoastronomy. Yeah, a little out there for me. It was great getting to see some old faces from my field school earlier in the summer and running into more familiar faces. Especially Tom. He is the president of our chapter. He is just one of the sweetest and neatest people ever. I adore him. I am really looking forward to some events, meetings and opportunities that will be coming. Flagstaff really is a great environment for me to get more involved in Archaeology. Watch out Indiana Jones!
